FF??? Update~

Good mornin', wonderful people~ (or possibly evening or nighttime, depending on your global habitation location!). I have for you updates on the Final Fantasy project, weee!

According to the last post, I had one color finished. I was admiring it over the weekend and marveling at how well the stitches were covering the fabric. It must be some magic DMC floss this time around!

And then it hit me. I had stitched that section 2-over-1 instead of 1-over. *facepalm*

I sighed. I resisted the urge to say naughty things and fling my pattern all over the living room. I sighed again. And then I picked out those lil' stitches (sure glad I had only done half stitches) and redid the whole thing.

Ah, well.

To the pictures! Can you tell which one it is now?

Two colors!

Three colors!

And for a little bonus: Peanut with his little heart visible. He's trying his best to blend with the carpet too. He didn't quite succeed, haha.

    1. He's a big sweetie, and always stretches out like that. I think he's showing off that heart, haha. :)

  2. Sorry about having to frog, but at least you caught it before you were too much farther along. Your cat is so cute, I love his legs! I think your project is looking excellent too (although I wouldn't be able to guess which FF it is!) :-)

    1. Yes, I can only imagine the frustration I'd've felt if I discovered it at the lettering stage, hah. I would've done more than sigh at that point! :D

    1. Only 'cause this is on the stand can I be quick(er)! I'm amazed at the speed some people can stitch! It's quite amazing.

  4. Hey there! I'm a new follower :)

Gotta say I LOVE FF. Haven't played it much in the last while but I have the sequel to FF13 just waiting for me lol. So I was really intrigued when I saw that you were doing a FF stitching project! Very cool!

    Good luck with everything :)

    1. Aloha~ Welcome to the clouds! :D I've returned the favor!

Yay, always happy to hear of another FF lover! I liked FFXIII (so pretty~) but haven't picked up XIII-2 for fear it would ruin my impressions, ahaha. I've completed another FF (VIII) and aim to DO THEM ALL.

      Thanks~ :D
